Travel Checklist/Regulations

Travel, particularly regulations, can change very quickly, depending on what is happening in the world today.  Besides a checklist in this area, we at erehwon felt it was important to try and keep our customers as up to date as possible. Below, you will find info as current as we can find but you should always check with your airlines before assuming anything.

Carry On Regulations

Carry on Security

The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) conducted extensive testing to determine the amount of  liquids, aerosols and gels could be transported safely onboard aircrafts.  They now require that everyone abide by the 3-1-1 rule.

3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3.4 ounce (100ml) bottle or less (by volume) ; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3.4 ounce (100ml) container size is a security measure.

Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure faster checkpoints and quicker lines. If you have any other questions please refer to the TSA website:

Travel Warnings

Unfortunately, different countries at any one time can go through turmoil that may make flying to them risky or hazardous to your personal being.  The US government has a web site listed here for you to check on issued warnings by the State
